Under the pseudonym Agni Kreativa, the artist Agnieszka Kotarska is found. I was born in the polish countryside on the banks of the Liswarta river, in a little village surrounded by nature, where the white winter, the intense green spring, the summer flowers and the golden autumn were my first source of inspiration as a little girl, giving birth to my first works full of colors. Autodidact, constant beauty lover and passionate I painted and drew at all hours. Later I moved to Lódz city where I finished my Spanish Philology studies. In 2005 I moved to Spain (where I currently live) and my travels began from there. They are my second passion. Greece and Spain captivated me with their light and warmth; the silence of the inhospitable Patagonia ; India with its contrasts and colors; Indonesia with its people; the Sahara desert sunsets and the Angkor Wat sunrises in Cambodia have been an inexhaustible source of inspiration, waking each of my senses up. Therefore my painted oil paintings at the stage are full of life and color. In one of my trips around the Asian continent, in northern Thailand I have met a great art teacher, who taught me an ancient charcoal powder technique using brushes which has become my favourite medium today, since it allows me to get a very high degree of realism and an extraordinarily smooth and elegant final effect. I have always been inclined towards figurative art, hyperrealism and surrealism. The main subject of my works are women, children and animals too. I put special emphasis on the look considering that the eyes express our feelings, the inner beauty and the mystery of human diversity.
